Calorie counting during pregnancy
For the counters out there, how many calories do you eat while pregnant to ensure baby is well provided for? I am 127 lbs pre-pregnancy and Im currently 24 weeks 4 days and I’ve already gained 22 lbs. I eat a diet high in protein, healthy fats and more carbs than I usually would but generally healthy. Baby was 96th percentile at last ultrasound so he’s obviously getting more than enough nutrition. Hoping to set a calorie goal to maintain weight but make sure baby gets enough food but so I can also push him out when the time comes! I used a calculator and it said 1700 to maintain and then added extra 400 for baby, so 2100. Seems low to me, what do you guys think?
