36+2. Hand Express?

Question

Hello, i’m 36+2 and a FTM. I had a very small leak from my right nipple this morning. They’ve been sore the past couple of days. Just wondering if it’s too soon to practice hand expressing? (no pump) 
I don’t want to collect any, I just want to get the art of it down. But don’t want to do this if it’s risky in any way..

I've been collecting for weeks! Yes absolutely  (and I suggest collecting too, in case bub needs it). Its GREAT practice as well

Do collect it:) Right after they are born you can put some in mouth with a spoon to help make up foe what they cant ywt suck. Helps with jaundo
Ice prevention. But carefull expressing can assist in labor.
