Just an in-law vent 😛😛😛

So my husband’s parents are staying with us for 10 days (4 days left 🙌🏼)

They’re great people and are having so much fun with the baby, but they are doing the opposite of what we tell them to... They keep saying things like “lets keep him up so he sleeps all night” and “oh it’s way too early for bedtime” (7:30-8pm) 🙄

But the biggest issue today is that my father in law let one of our dogs run out of the house! They were told to use the garage instead of the front door from day 1, but they repeatedly went through the front door. My husband and I were upstairs for a few minutes while they were watching baby... I get a ring camera alert on my phone and see my FIL walking out the door with baby and then I see my little crazy Shiba Inu running out too!

I’m screaming that she got out... thank God she just went around the house chasing geckos and we got her quick. Afterwards my husband tried to lay down the law and tell them absolutely no front door. 15 mins later FIL walks out the front door for a smoke 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Like you couldn’t go out to our huge fenced backyard?

I feel that it’s hugely disrespectful. My parents watch our son 1x/week and we really have no issues, my mom luckily does exactly as I ask.
