TMI Help! Has anyone had this kind of bump?

I’m so sorry for the TMI but this bump is inside the cheek of my butt and it’s been there for about a month. I just wanted to see if anyone else’s has had a bump like this that has gone away on its own or if you ended up having to go to a dermatologist. I’ve tried squeezing it and nothing comes out

Ingrown hair. I've had them before. Take a wash cloth and wet with hot water. Put in a microwave for a few seconds if you can stand the heat. It will give some relief to the pain and help bring the hair to the surface so you can get it out with a needle and tweezers.

It’s probably a cyst. You likely won’t get anything out of it unless it comes to a head and that can take awhile. Just leave it be. Keep it clean and dry!

If it feels like something is really deep beneath the surface and nothing comes out when you squeeze it and maybe gets more inflamed or hurt-y it’s probably a boil/cyst.  You can treat it by doing the same thing that another person posted if it’s an ingrown hair, hot compress about two to three times a day until it comes to a head on its own and then you can pop it or it will burst in its own maybe. Just make sure to keep everything very clean as to not get it infected or cultivate more boils as the puss in a boil carries the staph virus and could cause more painful bumps in the future. But also it is a as weird place to doctor yourself but you can totally treat it at home.

Yes! I’ve had them before in my bikini line area. It’s either an ingrown hair or cyst. Use hot compresses and don’t pop it!! Put antibiotic cream on it if you want to and just leave it alone until it starts to heal. I tend to go commando whenever I can when I have these because it helps air it out.
