Need advice please

So, I’m getting married in 2 months and my fiancé and I have decided to wait until our wedding night to have sex. Neither one of us want children until we have been married for at least a year maybe longer. What do I need to do to avoid pregnancy but yet not be scared so that I can enjoy that moment with him?
