Have anyone experience gender disappointment ? How did you deal with it?

How did you get your head around it?

Honestly just time. And I realized it wasn’t disappointed I was having a boy, but like the other person said- grieving the idea of having a girl. This is probably our last as well and it was definitely a kick below the belt... but I’m excited now to have two boys. I still get sad when I see cute girl clothes. But then I think about how gender doesn’t really matter and the things I’m sad about are mostly superficial crap. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 
It gets easier. Hang in there.

After you have a baby with special needs, you don’t really care about that anymore. Health is the most important thing. Be thankful.

I wasn’t upset I’m having another boy, but I did sort of need to mourn the idea that I’ll never have a girl, as this is my last baby. It just took some time. I think about a week later I was pretty much over it, and I am excited that my little boy will get to have a brother.

I wanted a boy. I felt more prepared for a bit and like I’d get along better with one. Once we started shopping for my baby girl and I started letting myself come to terms with it it got better. Plus it’s nice to see my husband so excited

I have 2 boys and I’m pregnant with another boy. My 2 girls are 15 & 16. Wanted one more lil girl but I’m getting a boy.
