My guy finally made his grand appearance! Went in Sunday morning around 8 to get my induction started. I was only 2cm dilated so they gave me a foley bulb to start with. I did not feel that at all and it stayed in for about an hour and when they pulled it out I was dilated to 4cm. Pitocin wasn’t bad at this point honestly, very tolerable. I stayed at 4cm for 9 hours. By the 13th hour of labor I was finally at 6cm and the pain was intense. I reluctantly opted for an epidural and was able to relax for a few hours. At 3 in the morning my doctor came in and was telling me that since I wasn’t progressing she thought it was best we do a c-section. She checked my cervix one last time and I was at 10cm!!! It was go time! My epidural wore off right before I started pushing 😂 great (I should’ve stayed going natural.) Baby was turned sideways so I had a lot of work to do. I pushed for 2 hours straight. Right as I was about to give up (ring of Fire had me fucked up) my guy came out! 18 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing, my guy came out at 6 am December 23, 2019. I am tooooo in love with him 😍❤️
