How is a induced labor ?

So I was due this Monday 23 but I haven’t gone past 1cm so I have a scheduled induced labor appointment this Sunday night my question is, is it scary? Does it hurt more than having a natural labor ? ☹️😭

Everyone’s experience is different, you’re probably hearing all the good ones lol so let me tell you mine. I was in labor for 24+ hours. From the second my water broke, I was in pain the whole 24+ hours. My intention was to go all natural, no medication, no nothing, but I was 19 hours in and said fuck it let me get an epidural because I couldn’t handle the pain anymore. Prior to the epidural I tried nitrous oxide, walked, took a hot shower with my bf rubbing my back to ease the pain and used the bouncy ball (which oddly helped the pain a bit lol) but the nitrous oxide made me really tired to the point where I was gonna fall asleep and I didnt want to fall asleep. So I told them to just give me the epidural, it wasn’t bad at all getting it, the nurses were very comforting in making sure I was comfortable and relaxed. 
I got the epidural but the medication was only going to the right side of my body so I felt everything on the left side and it was really bad. She offered me to get another epidural but I said no because if she didn’t hit the right spot the first time what makes her think I want another one done? So I was 8cm for about 2 hours and I was in so much pain from the contractions so they had to induce me because they knew I couldn’t wait any longer. (Yes it hurt ME a lot more when the induction kicked in) Once the medication kicked in for me to start pushing that’s when it felt like I’ve been hit by 100 trucks. I was screaming I was in so much pain. I didn’t expect my birth experience to be that traumatic and painful, but we never know how it’s gonna go until we actually go through it. 
After I had her, I was torn really bad to the 4th degree which is the worse and they tried stitching me in the room for an hour. I lost a lot of blood and I felt every stitch, pull, tug and gauze going in and out to ease the bleeding. They gave me morphine, benadryl and 3 lidocaine shots down there so I wouldn’t feel anything but it’s like nothing worked for me that day. No medication worked at all. I guess I was just meant to feel every single thing that day. But they tried for an hour to stitch me in the room, me screaming and in pain as if I was still in labor, until they came to the conclusion that they couldn’t fix me there so they had to send me to the OR, put me to sleep and stitch me up which took an additional 2 hours. 
That day (which was this month on the 9th) was the most traumatic but beautiful day of my life. Yes I felt like I was being ripped open and dying, but once she was out and my bf and I saw her actually here in this world, we just fell in love with her and all that pain was worth it. I know that I’m strong and can go through it again if I had to. We’ve been trying for 5 years to have her and she came a week after our 6 year anniversary, so she was our gift to each other. 😊

I got induced on the 16th and it went by so fast and no it doesn’t hurt at all!!

I was due the 22nd & also being induce this Sunday I’m terrified since it’s my first inducement & my baby is sunny side up 😖

My due date was 23rd as well and still no baby 😩
I went for an appointment today, had the 2nd membrane sweep done and my doctor will schedule my induction for next week. After all this waiting I just really hope it won’t be so bad haha I’m getting more and more anxious everyday!!
