Stool softeners and iron tablets?

Question

I was sent home with both of these. Does anyone have experience with taking these after birth? Exactly how long should I take them for? I don’t see any instructions on my discharge papers.

I’ve been taking them most of my pregnancy I have to take the iron pills twice a day with food NO milk or they won’t work..my constipation meds I also have to take them twice a day as needed they definitely help if you take them twice..also you will be pooping green don’t get scared lol it’s due to the iron pills completely normal

I had to take them while in the hospital because I became anemic this pregnancy. I'm still taking them now I was gunna keep taking them until my 6w check up then ask.
