Getting your first period post partum

Does getting your first period post partum mean your cervix is closed/ you’re all healed? I believe I just started my period at 6 weeks post partum. It’s super heavy! All I want to do it put in a tampon, I HATE pads. I also am dying for a hot bubble bath😭 my first appt is 4 days from now. Idk how long I can go with wearing pads, I’ve been taking 3 showers a day!
