My daughter is almost 19 months old.

When she was about 3 months old, we started listening to ‘You are my sunshine’ by Christina Perri. It was the only thing that could get her calmed down at night and we listened to it every single night until she was a little over a year old.

Due to some mentality issues caused by severe postpartum depression, I haven’t lived at home with her since the end of June of 2019 (shortly after her first bday).

Today, I’m spending the day with her & just went to turn on ‘you are my sunshine’ and when it started playing, she looked at me, snuggled up next to me, & started hysterically crying. Is this maybe her missing me being here every day? I’m not sure what just happened. It broke my heart though 💔
