Has anyone ever had to take Truvada and isentress for HIV prevention?

I’m a nurse and was exposed to someone else’s blood and they put me on those meds but didn’t explain much to me and now I’m on my death bed. Throwing up can’t move sicker than a dog. Seeing if anyone else has ever taken them and their experience.

May I add the side effects say 9% chance of nausea and vomiting yet from everyone I’ve spoke to most people refuse taking them because of how terrible they are. The doctor I seen was an oncologist where I worked because that’s where it happened (not my primary) and who rarely deals with these cases so limited info was given. It’s also Sunday and my resources are limited until tomorrow. Therefore, I am reaching out to see if anyone has personally gone through this. As a nurse, I am fully aware that reading the side effects are the first thing you do when you are prescribed a new medication, but as I feel like they do not fully reveal the true effects of the medication, I am reaching out to others.
