Operation one arm out!!

Jo • 1 Ectopic 2 early losses, now mommy to the beautiful E 🧡🧡🧡💗

I never swaddled as a newborn but when she hit the SR early at 3 mths it was the only way to get her to stay asleep. Roll on to nearly 6 mths and it seems the only way she will sleep is with her arms pinned in. She still hasn’t rolled over - I’m sure she could if she wanted too, plus many babies in my partners family just never did it so I’m not worried. She will be going in to her own room soon and don’t like the idea of her not having her arms while alone in there. We have tried a few times leaving one arm out with absolutely no joy. I’m talking hours and hours of her waving said arm about taking her dummy out and generally messing about until she was reswaddled falling straight to sleep as I did it. Tonight she has fell asleep with one arm out. Yes I did have to hold it for a minute or so as she seemed super excited about it. Let’s hope it lasts all night 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
