Did/will you find out the gender of your baby?

Just curious! Did you/will you find out the gender of your baby?! My husband and I go back and forth about finding out!

We did not find out and I loved it. It made it so exciting, and hearing my husband say “it’s a boy!” will always be my favorite memory.
In my experience it really didn’t interfere with planning. Nursery is Beatrix Potter-themed, so it would have worked for either. Not knowing actually prevented us from going crazy buying stuff. We stuck to essentials (and lots of creams and gray clothing) and were given tons of clothes once everyone knew it was a boy.

I found out with my son but plan to not find out next time. I was too eager with him. I now see women all the time (working in OB) who don’t know the gender and when they come back for their postpartum visits they ALWAYS say how it was the best decision they could have made. I’ve not heard of one person regretting it being a surprise.

We waited! It was fun! It made her birth that much more special. When they pulled her out and they announced it we both got to celebrate. 
But it’s tough pre-planning. You have to buy everything gender neutral.

I did for my daughter but when I get pregnant again I don't want to know the gender until I give birth

I did for the first three but promised my husband we’d wait for this one.  I’m only 9 weeks and don’t know how I’m going to make it!

My husband wants to know but I want it to be a surprise for me at birth although I will have the dr write it on an envelope Incase I do wanna know I can just peek but I will try not to Bc I don’t want to know until birth lol
