hey all! i have severe psoriasis. i had my first flare up when i was 18, and i got pregnant while i was 19. during the pregnancy the psoriasis completely cleared up on it’s own and i haven’t had a flare up since. just little patches that i could control with a topical steroid cream.

now i’m 25 years old and am 19 weeks pregnant with my second. about a month ago, i started a flare up. it is covering 80% of my body and i also get psoriatic arthritis.

my flare up this time around consist of pustular psoriasis in which i have huge blisters on my feet. very painful. i was put out on disability.

due to my severity, my obgyn approved for me to take injections such as cosentyx as long as it’s A, B, C.

has anyone else taken biologics while pregnant? i know some women take these medications for chron’s, and rheumatoid arthritis.

were there any affects in the baby?

i’m so nervous, but i’m in so much pain.
