Are your feet/hands swelling?

I have no warning signs for preeclampsia, but my feet and hands have really started swelling over the last week. Trying to decide if it is normal or if I should ask a doctor. My BP has been perfect, no headaches or anything else.

Is it sudden swelling? Is it in your face? Just hands and feet? If it is sudden, in your face, goes above your ankles and is accompanied with a headache, pain under your right rib or a change in vision, you should absolutely call your dr (not all of these symptoms have to apply just one is worthy of a call to let them know). Pre-e can set in suddenly. But if you’re not having those it can wait to be mentioned at your appt this week. Some swelling is completely normal with the weight gain and you body has more fluid, which means more fluid retention. If you’re concerned though, always call! 💚 
(I get this info preached to me by at least 2 nurses and 1 dr every week)

Towards the end is when my feet swelled up with my first two pregnancies. An' only my hands swelled up but nothing major. I just put alcohol an' put then over the stove an' the heat made the itchiness an' swelling go away. But so far my feet haven't swelled up with this pregnancy.

I have the beginnings of carpal tunnel anyway and apparently pregnancy carpal tunnel is a thing which is making my hands swell like whoa every night.

Yep. My doctor said she's not worried as long as my bp is good, no proteinuria, and no severe headaches. I have total cankles. Good excuse to get foot rubs from my husband 😜

Hey my BP was literally perfect my whole first pregnancy up until 38 weeks. At 38 weeks I started swelling like crazy,  cramping, headaches, overall not feeling great. Went to my 38 week appointment and my BP was super high and I got induced the same day. Preeclampsia can come on suddenly.

Yep 🙋🏻‍♀️ over the last few weeks both hands and feet have been swelling like mad! No elevation is helping and they feel like they are burning, have pins and needles occasionally and hurt to walk on but blood pressure has been absolutely fine! 🤷🏻‍♀️ guess it’s just one of those I’m gonna have to ride out until baby girl decides to arrive 😩

Bring it up during your next appointment. I’ve had on and off swelling for weeks and since my BP is good they said it’s a pinched nerve that the baby is sitting on
