Hey guys lately i’ve been having concerns about a possible yeast infection. I just had my annual exam so I know I don’t have any stds but every once and a while I feel discomfort and itching. my discharge is usually white and creamy with a very slight smell. I want to take a monistat just to be sure but im worried there might be negative effects if I take it and don’t actually have a yeast infection. i asked the obgyn to test it at my appointment but she said my symptoms are low and she didn’t see any yeast so she didn’t test me 😕.

Does anyone know if wrongfully taking monistat would be harmful or is it okay for me to just take it and hope it works?
