Anyone given birth naturally after a c-section ?

So I had a c-section with my first baby. I’m currently 5 months postpartum. I’m just wondering if any moms out there have given birth naturally after a c section? How long did you wait? How was pregnancy? And recovery?

I had an emergency C-section with my first and a vbac with my second. I had my vbac just before my daughter turned 2. Pregnancy was fine, I made sure to wait at least a year before trying to conceive again as I had my heart set on a vbac. Recovery was amazing compared to my c-section! I couldn't believe the difference and how great I felt so quickly. I had a second degree tear and an episiotomy to enable them to use the vacuum.

I’m sorry I can’t really help you since I’ve had one vaginal birth but I have a friend that did vaginal after 2 c-sections so it’s doable and I k ow she was monitored very closely throughout the whole pregnancy.

I didn’t have a natural birth but I had a vaginal birth 6 years after my csection. My pregnancy wasn’t too bad. Just had some aches, heartburn and hemorrhoids. Recovery, I felt like I had been doing hip adductors and abductors for 4 days straight lmao. But I had to factor in that I was 6 years older 🤷🏾‍♀️

I can’t answer any of those questions personally but I was my moms first child and I was a c-section baby, she went on to have 6 more children including a set of twins all naturally.. the first birth after me was 15 months later and as far as I’ve talked to her she never had any issues with pregnancy and loved being pregnant

Yes I did, actually I didn’t want to! I had an emergency c section with my first and was booked in for a c section with my second but he arrived a week early and I was encouraged to have a VBAC. The birth was absolutely fine and I was well looked after but I did opt again for a c section with my third as I was just too frightened of anything going wrong like my first and other issues.
