I’ll be going in Thursday at 41weeks to be induced I have to admit I am a bit bummed that my body doesn’t seem to want to go on it’s own. Doctor said my cervix still has a long way to go. 1cm, 30% effaced and soft.

my plan is to be as natural and intervention free as possible (no epidural) if pain management is needed I will opt for the gas.

I am wondering others experience with this form of oral induction and if you were able to do it without an epidural or successfully deliver vaginally, how the pain was etc. I hear it’s better/easier than Pitocin which makes me happy and people seem to progress rather quickly once things get going.
