Is it safe yet?

Today I’m 5 weeks and 1 day pp. Monday will be my 6 weeks pp appointment. Tonight I wanna have sex. I honestly can’t wait for Monday. I’ve been so horny for 4 weeks now and my husband can’t keep his hands off of me 😭. Has anyone had sex before their 6 weeks pp check up? If so how many pp days where you in and how was it?

i was one week pp 😂 i know i shouldn’t have and i’m not recommending it but i was fine. i had a c section so it didn’t hurt and i didn’t get pregnant or an infection lol

I waited 5 weeks 5 days. I only had 2 stitches and hadn’t been in any pain for a while. Just stopped bleeding at 5 weeks. I planned to wait until 6 weeks but what started out as a massage led to sex lol. I think it was better to let it just happen when there was no expectation of sex, as opposed to the pressure of doing it when I reached 6 weeks because I was nervous. We went slow and there was no pain!

I waited literally 2 weeks for anal, and 3 and a half for vaginal sex. I had no tears, I felt fine. Just go slow and listen to ur body, if it tells u to stop, stop!

I just went to my postpartum appointment at 5 weeks 2 days; he told me I can resume all normal physical activity, but wait another week or so before having sex. I mean I am so tired and stressed out with my husband being home so much and getting on my nerves (he had parental leave from work) that I'm perfectly fine to wait another year or so 😂

I waited 6 weeks this time around. But after my son two years ago i couldnt wait. We did the deed at 3 weeks pp bit i wasnt bleeding or hurting. We took it slow and it was amazing!

I was 3weeks pp but I had a csection. I had my postpartum appointment at 5 weeks and I was fine.

You should wait until your doctor clears you, but as long as you know the risks and your fine with that...then there's really nothing anyone can say to convince you not to lol
