Bringing baby to NYE party?

So we can’t find anyone to watch our son and our friends want us to come over to hang out. My son is asleep by 7 so and we plan to be there from 6-10ish. Would it be weird if I brought my baby and put him to sleep in their room? I’m obviously not gonna be drinking as I EBF but I still want to hang out and have a good time. What would you guys do?

Go for it! I would just make sure to do as much of their bedtime routine as you can to keep some familiarity. Just know that they may not go down as well as usual so you'd have to be okay with that. 
And treat yourself to a drink (if you are wanting to) . You can have one and breastfeed no problem! You've earned it mama!

We are bringing our baby to a friends house tonight and setting up a pack n play in their room. We’ll see how it goes, but I definitely don’t think there’s anything weird about it!

I do this at my sisters place when she has people over!

If your baby is comfortable falling asleep at other people’s house then go for it.  Try to make the setting as close to your setting at home as possible (ex. Sound machine, a sheet from home).  We tried putting my daughter down for sleep at my Mom’s house for Thanksgiving and my daughter would not stay down.
