Cutis marmorata in 2 year old ?!

Okay momma’s, help hopefully ease my mind here!!

My daughters gotten this patchy skin ever since she was little whenever she gets cold. (which is literally all the time bevause I swear this kid has something against clothes 😂) I was searching it today and found the name of it, Cutis marmorata.

This is what it looks like.

I talked with my daughters pediatrician and he said he’s not concerned as of right now since many infants, children, and adults get this. Buuuuut it could lead to a higher comcern of Lupus. However that is not his concern since this is her only symptom and usually Lupus will not onset this young.

Now any momma’s have experience with this or kids that had this and did OR did not lead to anything more concerning?!

Edit: I promise I’m not crazy. 😂 Our first daughter passed away while I was pregnant with her due to Anencephaly caused by Amniotic Band Syndrome. So upon realizing what she had, I learned some other serious conditions of the brain can cause it.. which then made me of coarse freak out and look further into it and contact her pediatrician - with a response of not being concerned about the more serious conditions but could possibly give a greater concern for Lupus in her future.
