How much does your newborn eat?

My little man is eating about every 2-3 hours and eats about 3oz each time. Is this normal or too much?

I think it’s normal! Our little guy is a little over 2 weeks old and ranges from 3-5 ounces each feeding. We asked our pediatrician a few days ago if that was too much and she wasn’t concerned at all.

mines the same sometimes she will eat less than 2 hours and still have 3oz shes only 10 days old

My baby is 3.5 weeks old and now eats 4 oz every 2-3 hours!

My LO turned 3 weeks yesterday and she is eating 4 oz ever 2-4 hours. I feel like that’s so much because my first never drank more than 5 oz in a shot so it seems insane that my 3 week old is already downing 4 oz at a time. But her pediatrician says it’s normal.

3 or 4 ounces every 3-4 hours for our 17 day old!
