Honest question here: how do I socialize my 3 year old if I genuinely do not like people? I don't like other children. I don't like talking to people. I don't like being around other people. My spouse thinks it's just because in the area we live people are jerks. I take anxiety medication but I don't think it helps much because I seriously am uncomfortable around other humans. I love animals and if I had it my way, I'd raise my toddler on a farm surrounded by animals and limited people. Will I be creating an anti social child if I can't get past my dislike for others? How do I socialize my child and still participate without having to be near others?
