How do you tell the difference between pp bleeding and your period coming back?

I’ll be 4 weeks pp tomorrow. My bleeding really slowed down to the point I was only wearing panty liners and was just light brown discharge.

Then I started having dark red blood again - a decent amount.

I wasn’t sure if this is my period? I know pp bleeding can kind of come and go but I just didn’t know if there was a way to tell the difference between the two! I was really hoping to be one of those people who don’t get a period thanks to breastfeeding lol
