Cute ideas to surprise our parents with gender?

We are not doing a full gender reveal but I thought it might be cute to do something little with our parents to surprise them. Any ideas?!

Have them over for dinner and make cupcakes for dessert. Have blue or pink icing in the middle to tell the gender.

We are going to reveal to both our moms first. I plan to have a couple onsies made that say something like “Nana’s Baby girl or boy”
