If you could go back would you still pick the epidural or just go through the pain?

Please leave a comment on why you would or would not get it again!!💪

P.S. if you had a C-section I'd still love to hear your stories. I'd like to be educated on Evey possible way I could bring my baby in this world! ❤️

I’ve had 2 unmedicated births. I’m done having kids but if I were to get pregnant again I would go with out the epidural again. I’d rather not have a needle in my back. And the cons outweigh the pros for me personally.

I had an epidural and plan on it again this pregnancy as well. From the time my water broke to the time he was born was only 5 hours. I pushed for a total of 3 mins and had a 3rd degree tear. But my vagina NEVER hurt not even after the epidural wore off. Praying this one goes the same way.

I got an epidural and it was the best decision I ever made. You never know what can go wrong during labour. 
Many women need episiotomy, forceps plus you tear. And in my case gave birth to a very large baby. Also keep in mind that you will be getting stitches afterwards.

I don’t know if you’re specifically looking for moms who had the epidural but I didn’t have any meds last birth and I’m planning on it again this time! My body definitely knew what to do!

I had pitocin due to water breaking and no contractions and the pain of those forced contractions were hell. I’m glad I got the epidural then. But I’ll probably do it again this time. Depends if I go into natural labor and if I can take it or not. If I progress smoothly bring it on, but if I’m struggling to get through each one, like really struggling, I’ll get it.

I had one and will be getting one again. I don't like being stuck in bed so I'll hold off a while but the pain was intense and exhausting. I don't want to know what it would have felt like without it.
