Anxiety
I’m having severe anxiety tonight. Like, turning off all the lights, making my husband watch a movie with headphones on and at low volume, tiptoeing around the house, sitting next to a window on the third floor of my townhome, turning the alarm system to “immediate” alarm when someone opens a door instead of there being like a minute of “disarm system now”, holding my 3.5 mil stun gun with my finger on the button, etc.
I talked to my mom about it for a little while but all of her responses were “just breathe” and “if you’d just learn to control it, it wouldn’t be so bad”
And now I feel worse than I did before. ☹️
How do I tell her this doesn’t help without making my anxiety worse?
