Fmla help

Asking for FMLA Help...I’m in Ohio.

My employer sent me my FMLA papers already and told me I have to turn them in within 15days of my next doc appt. I’m not even due until April 26,2020. At max I leave 2 hours early from work for my doc appts (which I don’t feel I need job protection for that since I have sick hours to cover it an I always give two week notice). I’m suppose to be allowed up to 12 weeks of leave for when I have the baby. Which will also put me through to summer break since I’m a teacher. If I fill these papers out now like they want I will have to use them for every doc appt which will take from my fmla hours/leave from my baby. And not only will I be losing that but I continue to lose my sick hours/time saved up. So really what they appear to be doing is draining my fmla hours so I have to come back sooner to work.

So I guess my questions is...

What are my rights? Do I have to turn it now or can I choose to turn it in when my date gets a little closer?

What are the laws behind this? Just curious what other mothers experiences have been and maybe I’m thinking of this all wrong? Please feel free to help educate me on FMLA. Thanks so much in advance.
