My baby boy dropped 2 days ago and I’ve been having increased Braxton Hicks contractions and pretty bad lightening crotch since then. I got a cervical exam today and she said my cervix is closed but it’s sitting very low (as is his head) and is very soft. I’ve been told to abstain from sex until after he’s born. Has anyone else been told this? How long after that did you go into labor? * I’m 36 weeks pregnant. They made it seem like because my cervix is so low and soft that I shouldn’t have sex
