Is this normal ? First time mom🥺

I’ll be 36 weeks on Sunday, and today I’ve been having like brown discharge. And just right now I  went to the bathroom and I have this. Is this normal ? I’ve been having like period cramps but they go and they come and nothing bad at all. 
First time mom here, and don’t know what this could be. Could it be that I’ll be in labor soon?

It’s normal to see spotting. As long as it’s not bright red and filling a pad in an hour. Brown blood is old blood. Anything from having sex to pooping can irritate your cervix and cause spotting. 
I was in the l&d last week for bleeding at 32 weeks, and it was just my cervix irritated and dilating from 2cm to 3cm. I mean bleeding bright red, not feeling a pad in an hour but still on a pad. I’m now 33 weeks and it stopped around a day ago. My midwife told me I could see bleeding from here until birth but not to worry unless it’s bright red and filling a pad or a gush of blood, or baby isn’t moving as much/not at all while spotting

I'm 28 weeks but would rec you check with your doctor just to be on the safe side.
