Does this count for a period month or how does this work?

Too much information here...,

I had my first period at 10 years old back in October 2012. More specifically the third day of that month. I turned 10 that day, too. I believe it was in the morning when I first got it like maybe 12am or so on October 3. I think it was a school night/morning. ...It was! I checked the calendar for that year and came back to the app. Woah, it was a school morning.

I went to the toilet to take the liquid waste out from my bladder and then finally my first ever period came. My mother was the one who noticed that my breasts were spuds/forming two years or a year before...she told my father. It was an early sign that I was going to get my period. At 10 years old, at last, I finally did...I was waiting for it to come because my legs at the time were not shaved and exposed my hair. I hated the hair so much that I was so embarrassed of even having it. The other girls my grade didn’t have any. That time of the month meant that I needed to shave my legs for the first time. I was so happy and glad, but periods meant nothing for me except those years after maybe when I hit 12 years old, those times were the cramps that came in later. The cramps made my sides, or everything hurt altogether and couldn’t handle them especially when I was 13-15 years old.

Alright, so it was not much of a deal at first but it got worse. Now, 17 years old, I don’t get cramps as much...only my first two days maybe, yes. I will probably get headaches or cramps and not deal with it but then the next day, I feel better. It is weird.

So, technically, 7 years already...but does that mean 6 years plus 3 months? I got my period on October 3, 2012. Three months and 6 years (but counting that would be 7 full years) which would not make sense. This year would make 8 years in 2020. I only had my period for three months one year only, so would that make 7 years plus 3 months for 2020? Is it true? Thanks so much.

Because 12-3=9, but 12-9=3 months only.

6 years?
