I know my bfs work schedule so I make appointments when he has off and I know he wants to be there to ask questions. I'm glad he is cause he has a better memory then me so he remembers questions and what the doctors said. He gets so happy when he listened to the heartbeat. I'm a softy so I cry everytime cause I'm so happy cause this is my first baby.

We try and schedule all the appointments so my husband can be there. I stay home so my schedule is flexible. He runs his own business and is very busy but he has been able to make most of them.

Yes, my husband comes to all appointments. We make a list of questions beforehand so that we don’t forget anything (1st pregnancy - lots to learn!) and he’s basically my note taker. He helps me make sure to cover everything we wanted to know about that month.

We had a rough time getting (and staying) pregnant so my husband came to every appointment because I was a nervous wreck each time. Luckily his work schedule made it possible.

No, but I also didn’t know we were pregnant, I found out at my yearly appointment so they scanned just in case, and I was 8 weeks. He came to our anatomy ultrasound though.

My SO’s schedule is so sporadic that he got called in to work the day of, the day before lol. My bestie came with me instead. No hard feelings, though. He’s the bread winner & we need allll the money we can get now with our surprise peanut 🤷🏻‍♀️

He went to every appt and ultrasound. His work was very lenient if he was on shift, someone would cover for him for an hour if they needed, but usually I made the appts when he had the day off.

My husband has gone to all but one appointment so far. I told him it was important to me that he’s there. I was really glad that he was at the appointment after my anatomy scan because the dr told me I have placenta previa. Luckily he can think in tough situations and could ask the necessary questions and knows how to help me now.
