So I’m 40+5 🙄 and Peter of my mucus plug finally came out today. I had tested positive for GBS and so I called the hospital to see if I needed to come in or if that was just if my water broke.

She said because it’s my first pregnancy I “should” be fine to wait and not to come in unless I’m bleeding, leaking fluid, or having regular contractions.

The should in that statement worries me.

She was like you should be fine and if your water breaks and you get here right away we will probably have time to give you antibiotics.

Should and probably?!??!? GBS could freaking kill my baby and I got a should and probably from this lady.
