Your experience is choosing to start a family
I’m 24 and My partner and I have been together a few years. I can’t wait to start a family and my partner says he wants to wait until we’re both paid off on our student loans and bought a house instead of renting. I graduated a few years ago and hes been out of college for a while and our loans are not that high but it will still take yearsss 😳
my family has a high occurrence of cancer resulting in hysterectomies around age 30. I really want to start trying soon because I’m scared I’ll have to go through that as well and I want 3 kids. It also seems to take people a while to conceive these days.
I was really hoping that this year we could finally start to try but he is so adamant about finances. We’re not struggling but we’re not rich. Is it realistic to try for a baby when your not paid of on student loans or owning a house?
I just don’t want to lose my chance.
💡Update- I really appreciate and respect all of your responses! For sure at the end of the day what everyone says doesn’t matter if he just isn’t ready in general. But I do appreciate hearing more opinions on the thought process of how to handle things and different experiences. Thank you!!
