Midwife brew?

Can I use coconut oil Instead of castor oil in the midwife brew? 
My doctor gave me the go I’m 37w but I have read that Castor oil is bad for baby.

I did castor oil and my baby was born fine and alive. She’s 2 now and I’ll be doing it again with this pregnancy

Teehee I have to share.i mentioned midwife brew to my hubs and showed him the recipe. he said the only labor that that was going to start was one in your butt hole bc that will make you poop 😂

CASTOR OIL CAN KILL YOUR BABY. Omg do not use that! Why do people still think this is ok??? Why the hell would you EVER risk your babies life just so you don’t have to be pregnant anymore!?

I’ve heard of using prune juice instead of the castor oil.

I would definitely skip the castor oil. It can cause your baby to have a bowel movement which it can then inhale and cause serious problems. Please please do not use castor oil! Try coconut oil for sure. But remember that our bodies know when our babies are ready to be born and unless you have a medical condition that requires an early delivery, it’s really best to let the pregnancy continue to full term.

This isn't a personal dig so sorry if it comes across that way but I don't understand these posts.
If your healthy and baby is fine why try to rush your baby or push for labour to happen sooner. 
Let it Happen on its own... If you go over your due date by a few days then I get it but...there are safer ways...
But coconut oil won't work as an alternative no.
