My husband just made a bunch of money and wants to go on a trip. He asked me to go to Hawaii and then he wanted to go to Colorado, Utah, Montana, just to name a few of his suggestions. I live in Northern California. I am 38 weeks pregnant. I don’t want to go on a trip. I want to prepare for this baby. I also have a 1.5yr old and a 3yr old and am having a hard enough time chasing them around at home, let alone trying to corral them in an airport. So when I told him that I do not want to travel he is now moping around the house upset at me. Saying I control him and control his life. I feel like he is not empathic at all. He says he is better than 90% of husbands out there and I am unappreciative. I’m just like WTF, I let you do whatever you want and I take care of the kids every day. He made me help him lift up an old wet mattress into our truck yesterday with no care in the world for me. Anyone else have a husband who couldn’t care less that you’re pregnant? 😢
