So our insurance says it’s going to cost us $5000 predicted cost to have a vaginal birth. I’m due in August and I’m freaking out. I’m dumb. I have had two heart surgeries that both cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and I never paid a dime because we have pretty flood insurance. I’m freaking out. It’s just me and my husband and we are not rich, he’s going through school and I work but they pay crap in Utah lol. Like I’m in tears thinking I’m going to go $5000 in debt and have people calling me harassing me about money. Like tons of people have babies here we are like known for that. I’m astonished. Anyone else in Utah have any experience? Also if you are in Utah let me know your favorite hospital to deliver in if I’m gonna spend $5000 I want it to be a freaking 5 star experience.
