Birthday for 1yo - is it weird to give diapers?

When i think of what i want for my baby on his first - formula and diapers... i mean we did just have Christmas... and have way too many toys... but i don’t know how others would take it...

I would love diapers haha but I don’t know if others would love that. I am economical, hate clutter, and am not sentimental so would be all for diapers. But others might think “it’s baby’s first birthday” and that warrants something fun, not practical.

We love diapers! For Christmas my dad asked me a thousand times what we wanted for Christmas and every time I said diapers so he got me a 6 month subscription of diapers 😂 we never say no to diapers or books!

lol I'm putting together an Amazon wish list right now for my sons 1st birthday and i was thinking about adding diapers to it 😂 but I feel like nobody would get it since they'd rather do something fun like clothes or toys. but we already have so much clothes and we dont need anymore toys either so I'd much rather ask for diapers lol

All I want is target gift cards to get diapers and formula! Cept at a year prob no to the formula as I’d wanna change to milk around that time.  
I think it’s perfectly fine - if you plan on it, just as the mom ahead of time what diapers she uses and if she asks why , say “ no reason ☺️”

Hmm. It’s not really for the baby. But I get the toys thing. We set up a bank account for our daughter when she was born so I give that as an option when people ask what to get her. Since it’s for her, just in the future 😊
