What year will our babies go to kindergarten?

I’m so bad at figuring this out. Help me!
I think it’s fall of 2024 because they will have just turned 5, right? Will that make them on the younger side for their grade? 
If it’s fall of 2023 they will have just turned 4, which I think makes them too young
I’m so confused 😅

I was born in June and was always the youngest in class. But, I did well and everything was great! I started kindergarten at 5. Really, only downside I remember was that my birthday was during summer so I didn’t get to celebrate in class with everyone lol

My husband decided when we found out we were pregnant that we’d wait until she was already 5. So fall 2024. See I was born August 30th so I was born days before the cut off (9/1). Well as a result my parents sent me ahead as a 4 year old. I was the youngest in my class and even though intellectually I was all there and smart enough I had a hard time focusing and I was physically behind the other students. So I have been on both sides and I always loved that they ended up holding me back because I felt like I fit so much better with the other students. And they did it when I was young enough that it wasn’t embarrassing. Plus I got my license before all my friends and I could vote in high school 😂

Usually the cut off is turning 5 by September 1 or October 1, depending on what month school starts. 
Our kids will start in fall of 2024 at 5 years old. They will be on the younger side but it’s not that bad. Think of how many birthdays there are for kids between June-September! 
As a teacher, there is almost never a concern with summer birthday kids and their maturity. But the ones with fall birthdays, we see a big difference on if they are a younger or older kid. 
My son has a May birthday and he’s fine. I have a June birthday and was fine as well.

My oldest started Pre K when she was 3, almost 4. She started Kindergarten when she was 4, almost 5, and she started 1st grade when she was 5, almost 6. Her birthday is August 19th, and here, school starts the first week of August, and the cut off is by September 1st(used to be September 3rd), you have to be 4 to start pre K and continue to the next grade. Or, if you choose to wait to put them in school until Kindergarten, they have to be 5 by September 1st but by law, you don't have to put them in school until they're 6(in Georgia)
My oldest has a cousin that is 3 months younger than her, and he's always going to be at least one grade lower than her. She's always done really well in school, despite being one of, if not, the youngest in her class. I'll start Ellie in Pre K as soon as possible too. Nothing wrong with getting a head start. I think it's beneficial for them in a social and educational sense, and if they're not ready to move forward, you can always keep them back another year.

It depends on your preference. My daughter will probably go in 2024 when she turns 5. For our school district, school starts in september and they have to be 5 by December to attend. 
Usually it's kids born September or later i see held back because there is a subtle but big difference in development. 
My son was born in October and everyone asked if i was going to hold him back, but he started pre-k 3 just shy of 3 years old and os doing well

You can usually google the school you are planning on sending your child to and they will outline the age requirements on their website. Our school starts preschool at age 3 so 2022, and kindergarten starts at age 5, so 2024

I think we have a choice. Depending on when we put them in preschool whether early or later depends on if it’ll be2024 or 2023
