Could he be teething?

He's been extra fussy these last few days. His cries have been like nothing before, like he's in pain. Almost like a painful grunt sometimes but his burping/gas/pooping has been normal. He's been really fussy at the breast, only feeding for a couple of minutes before screaming at me.

I attributed it to being at the end of Leap 4 (4 days left according to Wonder Weeks) but I'm wondering if it's actually teething pain? He's been super drooly and needing something in his mouth 24/7 the last week or two, but the other symptoms started a few days ago.

Gave him a frozen washcloth this morning which he seemed to like chewing on, but that only helps temporarily. Help!
