I’m 11 weeks pregnant, my Dr gave my husband and I blood tests to do the genetic carrier screening test. I just got a voicemail from my Dr office saying the genetic counselor has been trying to get in touch with me to discuss my genetic counseling results (I haven’t had any missed calls or voicemails though.) anyways now I’m super freaked out that somethings wrong. I called back and left a voicemail but haven’t heard back.

Question is, it’s only an issue if my partner and I are carriers of the same genetic disorder right? I can see our results online, and we’re both carriers of a genetic disorder but not of the same one.

Do I have something to worry about? Trying to ease my anxiety.
