Is a music festival at 32 weeks crazy?

My husband and I committed with friends to going to Bottlerock music festival in Napa in May. This was before we knew I was pregnant. Our friends don’t know yet, but I will be 32 weeks pregnant at that time. 
We would be driving up from LA so don’t need to worry about not being able to fly, but would be a 6 hour car ride. 
The idea of doing wine tastings and a music festival when pregnant (so obviously can’t drink the wine) wasn’t super appealing but my husband REALLY wants to go. Would I be crazy to buy the tickets and still go? I’ve never been to a music festival before.. do I have to stand the whole time? Also worried about how bad the bathroom situation would be.

It seems you have made the negatives outweigh the positive hun so if you’re feeling uneasy about it, maybe sit this one out. Baby would be ok I’m sure, but if you’re not sure about the bathroom situation (which will be DISGUSTING) , and at festivals you are standing, there’s people pushing, shoving, drunk, starting fights. I personally wouldn’t go not risk an accident because of some dickheads that can’t handle their alcohol but that’s me.

The bathroom situation might get tricky, but I'm sure there's plenty of 'lawn' area to sit if need be. My sister went with me to a metal concert at 7 months pregnant and loved it. Lol i say go and enjoy yourself!

I’d be more concerned about the 6 hour drive than the festival, although that doesn’t sound so fun either. You can make it work, but it will probably be tiring for you. Just make sure to wear comfy shoes and make lots of stops during the drive.

That's a tough call. I think it really depends on how you carry your belly. Some of my friends started to get really uncomfortable around that time while others felt fine still. The bathrooms will be gross and more than likely have lines. Also, maybe look into the average temperature at that time. You don't want to be too hot.

Also we would bring large blankets to sit on, but yea there’s plenty of places to sit. If you’re going with a group everyone should bring stuff. There’s tons of food trucks and stuff too, plenty of areas to sit.

Definitely go! We had a pregnant person in our group when we went in 2018, and she camped with us at the campsites. She wasn’t as pregnant as you would be, but I say go for it. Bottle rock is so fun!
