Best (inexpensive) curvy high waisted jeans?

I have a beautiful 4.5 month old and I’ve lost enough weight that my prepregnancy jeans slide off of my waist...

However, my thighs are still fairly thick... and so while the jeans are constantly being pulled up around my tummy, they’re not fitting well anymore...

I’m not sure what size I’d need - probably a 14 still given the thighs... and I’m changing styles from mid to high rise jeans...

I don’t really do well with skinny jeans because my calves are large and tend to be uncomfortable (Lycra in jeans seems to help this but the pair I’ve found that I have worn on repeat are $70 a pair (got them 50% off) and that’s toooooo much)...

So: curvy high-waisted jeans that won’t break the bank... any ideas? Bonus if I can go to a store and try them on!
