Good evening everyone. Kinda long post.

Little background: I was raped in July 2011 by a man that had herpes. I tested positive in the 2nd week of July had the most painful outbreak but at the time had no idea what was going on. I went to three different ERs and was just given pain meds via shots. Went to my provider and she didn't even run the test yet and said " I can tell you right now by the looks of what I am seeing you have herpes." She ran the test and about 45 minutes later she came in and said I for sure had herpes. I had asked the dumbest question if I could still have healthy children? She said yes just had to take Valtrex in the beginning of the third trimester until delivery.

Fast forward to 2016 I had became pregnant and went to the ob doctor and was told I would have to have a csection no matter what.

My question to you ladies is is this true? Should I find another doctor or try talking my doctor into allowing me to do a natural birth?
