A question, can somebody explain me this?

Today I requested a repeat prescription, and they told me that my prescription will be available Thursday afternoon. So do I have to go directly to pharmacy, or do I have to go to the GP and after to the Pharmacy. (In UK)
And another question, after i finish the new pack that they'll give me ,what do i do? Do I have to go and request another repeat prescription, or the pharmacy will give me a date on when I can get another pack.??

If your doctor’s office has the ability to send an e-script then it’s be sent directly to the pharmacy, if not then you’ll have to pick up the paper copy. 
Is this birth control your talking about? If so, and it’s working for you, then your dr may write you refills allowing you to request a new pack through the pharmacy every month. 
If your fr doesn’t write for refills, then the pharmacy can request them on your behalf.

I'm in the UK and do this for my partner's asthma inhalers.
Essentially, he got the initial repeat prescription paperwork and took it into the local pharmacy (Tesco for us). Now, if he needs a new inhaler, either he or I can order the new inhaler at the same pharmacy and collect it about 3/4 days later. 
They just deal with the paperwork side with his GP surgery.
