How soon after nexplanon removes should we TTC.

I’ll be getting my nexplanon our next week. I’ve heard you can ovulate as soon as the implant is removed. So if we wanted to start trying right away, would we want to get freaky a day or two before it’s removed bc of the sperm lifespan thing? Or should we just wait until I’ve had my first period and then start really trying? I know I sound so dumb right now but I’m so new to this I don’t even know the best way to go about a planned pregnancy 🙃 I have a son who was an unplanned pregnancy which adds to me feeling even more dumb with this question bc it’s not my first pregnancy ha
