Big sisters name is hawaiian sounding so that’s our goal. After much thinking we like Liahni but want to know how you’d pronounce it. The goal would be Lee-yaw-nee. Just trying to see what y’all think when you first see the name. Thanks! 🖤

Well with that “h” in it you would have a hard time pronouncing it Hawaiian like.. 
might wanna change the letters around.. I am from Hawaii born and raised.. and was having a hard time with it as the letters are sounded out different. Lol

Alani- orange tree
Kalani- can be used for both genders. 
Malia- Mary in Hawaiian 
Leilani-heavenly flower
Kialani-sea and sky
Noelani-mist of heaven
Nalani- silence of the heavens

My daughter is named Kiani which I think would rhyme with the pronunciation you’re trying to achieve. I think it’s a beautiful sounding name but it looks odd to read, I think the h just makes it look a little awkward but I also think the h will have more people pronouncing it correctly so I’m torn about it
