I know its not the ‘norm’ but I’m really wanting to name my boy something very different and this name has been in the back of my head for a long time now

Many/most people will probably pronounce it like the major city Lyon. So if you're going for a creative spelling of Lion, I'd definitely not do it. But if you're actually going for it as the city name, I think it's nice 🤷🏼‍♀️
