So I've been trying to wean for 2 months. ( babe is 15 mo) I've tried everything to the point the lactation consultant said cold turkey/ drying my milk up is the only option left. *am ttc and it's impossible while I BF due to short luteal phase. Ob said only stopping nursing would fix it*

I'm trying to get baby's mind on other things when I tell her "mommy's milk is bad/later/etc" but she gets irate. No substitution will work so I have to just deal with the tears.

How do you guys deal with a nonstop crying baby with a strong mind? It's harder to deal with than other times crying bc I know I could give in and comfort her with nursing but I have to be strong. It literally makes me cry and breaks my heart.
